The Big Night Out this year was not a great financial success due to the bad weather, but it did make a profit. The event will never again make the big profits of five years ago due to the cost nowadays of hiring Melford Hall Park from Sir Richard Hyde parker (£5000) and the event license from Babergh Council (£1100).
However, Project Seven's other fund-raising activities: BBQs, Cabaret, and Helping at other events have made it possible for Project Seven to give away £10,000 this year to help forty-four charities:
